Ethics approval and consent to participate
: Approved by the Public Health Ontario Ethics Review Board, October 2018, ERB 2018–044.01.In the survey, a question asking for consent to use the responses for research purposes was included. For residents who chose to attend the workshop, we provided information in advance including an agenda, a description of how we would collect qualitative information through notes taken at the meeting, and assurances that no resident would be identified in any reports or presentations that were produced as a result of the workshop. Attendance at the workshop was taken to mean consent to participate.
