Ethics approval and consent to participate
: The pedagogical committee of the University of Angers-School of Medicine that deals with research authorizations and ethical considerations in the field of education has approved the study. Verbal consent was obtained from study participants and approved by the committee. The ethical considerations taken into account were based on the principles outlined in the Declaration of Helsinki []. All the fourth-year medical students from Angers Medical School followed FT sessions as part of the curriculum. Participation in the study was voluntary. JFSE scores were collected anonymously. All participants were informed about the aim of the study. Ninety-three out of 579 students refused to participate.
