: This manuscript, derived from a master’s thesis in nursing (project code No 99000595), was approved by the Ethics Committee of Kerman University of Medical Sciences (Ethics code of IR.KMU.REC.1399.527). At the request of the ethics committee, the present study was conducted in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki and Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). All participants in both groups were assured that they could withdraw from the study at any stage. Participants were also ensured that the collected information would be kept confidential and used only for the research purpose. Moreover, written informed consent was obtained from all nurse educators. After the intervention and data collection, the control group received training program using the same method.
