: For surveys, the French legislation (Article L.1121‐1 and Articles R.1121‐1 and R.1121‐2 of the French public health code) does not require the agreement of local ethics committee or institutional review board (IRB) and only requires that the protection of personal data is ensured (Toulouse E., French legal approach to clinical research, Anaesth Crit Care Pain Med, 2018 Dec;37(6):607–614.) The data collection was performed according to the MR-004 methodology and the requirement of the French Data Protection Authority (CNIL), to which the Toulouse University Hospital has signed up. The consent that was obtained from all of the participants was informed. All participants gave their consent to participate in the study via email, again verbally and in writing on the questionnaires at the start of the interview, with the possibility to withdraw at any time.
