: Ethics approval for this study was waived by the Institutional Review Board of Tri-Service General Hospital (TSGHIRB) because the experiment involved the use of in vitro tissue purchased from a butcher and did not involve animals raised specifically for research purposes. Additionally, the participation of orthopedic residents did not require ethics approval, as the study posed no more than minimal risk to all participants.
