: This paper describes the development and implementation of a course and includes a summary of anonymized data generated from a service evaluation. According to the NHS Health Research Authority toolkit, service evaluations are not classified as research studies, and therefore are exempt from ethical approval by the Oxford Tropical Research Ethics Committee.
