: This study adheres to rigorous ethical standards to protect participants’ rights and wellbeing throughout the research process. Prior to commencement, the study protocol was submitted for approval to the Institutional Review Board of Shanxi Provincial People’s Hospital, ensuring compliance with all relevant ethical guidelines. Informed consent was obtained from all participants, with detailed information provided about the study’s purpose, procedures, potential risks and benefits, and the voluntary nature of participation. Participants were informed of their right to withdraw from the study at any time without penalty. Data confidentiality and protection measures were implemented, including the use of anonymized identifiers, secure data storage, and restricted access to research personnel only. All data were stored on encrypted, password-protected servers, with physical documents secured in locked cabinets. Debriefing procedures were conducted after each simulation session and at the conclusion of the study, providing participants with the opportunity to discuss their experiences and ask questions. These debriefings also served as a platform to address any potential distress or concerns arising from the simulation scenarios.
