: The proposal of this research was approved by the Institutional Review Board (IRB) of the American University of Beirut (IRB #: SBS-2022-0192). Informed consent was obtained from all participants. The first part of the electronic survey included a question to collect students’ consent prior to their participation. Participants were informed of the purpose of the study before answering the questionnaire and were allowed to withdraw at any time. No question was mandatory, except for the question on age and class standing. Contact information of mental health services was provided to participants in the beginning of the survey and was listed again at the end. All information remained confidential and anonymous, as there were neither names nor identifiers on the questionnaire.
