This collaborative approach minimizes the influence of potential competing interests of author AR as an author of the Framework. Authors HG, JS and PP are lecturers on the entry-level physiotherapy program from which students were recruited to participate in this study and AR, HG, JS and PP led standardized teaching of the Framework. Strategies to minimize these potential competing interests include recruitment of participants by author KK, data collection and analysis by KK, input from AR, JS, HG and PP at the stage of data synthesis and interpretation, and wider peer scrutiny of initial findings. KK and KH have no potential competing interests.
