: This study adhered to the Declaration of Helsinki, and Ethical approval was obtained (ERC 71/24) from the Research Ethics Committee (REC), Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka. Further permission was obtained from the Dean of the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences and the Head of the Department of Nursing and Midwifery. All participants in this study provided a paper-based informed consent form before their involvement, and consent was obtained from all participants before data collection.
