: No institutional ethics committee approval was sought, as the study did not involve procedures requiring formal ethical review as per the NHS REC ethics review tool and UCL ethics guidance, and no identifiable information was collected. This study was reviewed in accordance with the Health Research Authority (HRA) decision-making algorithm. As the study involved voluntary, anonymised responses from medical students without collection of personal or sensitive data, and did not involve patients, NHS staff, or patient-identifiable information, formal NHS REC approval was not required. All methods were carried out per relevant guidelines and regulations. Informed consent was obtained from all participants.
