Declarations
:
: Ethics approval was obtained from the McGill University Institutional Review Board (IRB #24-02-002). All procedures complied with the ethical principles of the World Medical Association Declaration of Helsinki. Informed consent was obtained prior to participation via IRB-approved modes: (i) written consent (signed form); (ii) oral consent provided in person prior to the online session or at the start of the session, documented on the audio recording or by a dated note in the study log; or (iii) documented email consent in reply to the study invitation. For oral consent, the IRB approved a waiver of written documentation given the minimal-risk, focus-group design. Participants also consented to audio recording and were reminded of confidentiality and their right to withdraw at any time. Transcripts were de-identified and stored on encrypted drives.
