: The Albany Medical Center Institutional Review Board reviewed the project and determined that it did not constitute human subjects research (IRB Reference Number 6688; July 17, 2022). As a result, the requirement for formal informed consent to participate was waived. Participation in the emotional intelligence pilot was voluntary, and students opted in after reviewing written information about the program. All procedures were conducted in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki.
