: The study was conducted in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki and Colombian national regulations for health research (Resolution 8430/1993). The four-phase research project was reviewed and approved by the Universidad de los Andes School of Medicine Research Ethics Committee (institutional review board # 20220202). In accordance with Resolution 8430/1993, the phase presented in this manuscript is a “research without risk” because it involved retrospective documentary analysis of course materials and did not include any intervention or intentional modification of biological, physiological, psychological, or social variables, nor the collection of sensitive or identifiable personal data. Authorization to access curricular materials was granted by the Undergraduate Coordination of Medical Program. Course instructors were contacted to gather relevant course documents, and they provided informed consent for their materials to be used for research purposes. The research team committed to preserving confidentiality through de-identification of documents and aggregate reporting and clarified that participation and findings would not have any impact on academic or professional evaluation processes.
