: This study did not involve collecting data from human participants, patient data, or human tissue. The educational intervention formed part of routine teaching within the undergraduate paramedic programme.The Faculty of Health and Wellness Sciences Research Ethics Committee (HWS-REC) at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology reviewed the intervention and confirmed that formal ethics approval was not required. A letter of ethics endorsement is attached to the submission.Participation in the anonymous post-session feedback questionnaire was voluntary, and informed consent was implied when students chose to complete the questionnaire. No identifiable personal information was collected.The study was conducted in accordance with the ethical principles of the Declaration of Helsinki, as applicable to educational research, ensuring respect, dignity, and the protection of student anonymity.
