: We obtained expedited ethical clearance for this study from the institutional review board (IRB) of the Infectious Diseases Institute (IDI- REC- 2023- 37) Uganda National Council of Science and Technology (HS2890ES). Also, approval was sought from the district health team and study participants. Written informed consent was sought, and only those who consented participated in the study.
