: This paper was derived from the thesis project of a Master’s student in midwifery counseling with reference no: DP/20/71/642. The ethical principles were obtained from the Ethics Committee of Bushehr University of Medical Sciences with reference no. IR.BPUMS.REC.1402.017. The study was conducted in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki, and the participants were informed of their rights. The objectives of the research study were explained to all participants, and they were informed that participation in the study was completely voluntary and that they could withdraw at any time without any consequence. Informed consent was obtained from the participants in the study. For individuals with illiteracy or elementary literacy, the informed consent form was read to them verbally, and their consent was obtained. Their companions were also informed. The participants were assured that their information would remain confidential and that the questionnaire would be anonymous. To preserve the confidentiality of the subjects, each participant was assigned a unique code, which was documented on the questionnaire. The patient’s profile, along with the corresponding code, was meticulously stored in a separate file, which was exclusively accessible to the researcher responsible for data collection.
