: This study was conducted following the ethical principles outlined in the Declaration of Helsinki. Ethical clearance was obtained from the Institutional Review Board (IRB) of the University of Gondar, College of Medicine and Health Sciences, before the commencement of the study (Ref No: Mid/W.H/28/2016 E.C). Permission letters were obtained after communicating with responsible officials and hospital managers. All participants provided written informed consent before participating in the interviews. Participants were informed of the purpose of the study, its potential benefits and risks, their right to withdraw at any stage of the data collection process, and the measures taken to ensure data confidentiality. Emotional support was provided both during and after the interviews, if needed. Participation in the study was entirely voluntary. Participant anonymity was maintained throughout the study, and no identifying information was recorded.
