: The study was approved by the Makerere University Higher degrees committee School of Biomedical Sciences Research ethics committee (SBSHD-REC 2022 − 273) and the Uganda National Council for Science and Technology (SS1730ES). All procedures followed were in accordance with the ethical standards of the responsible committee on human experimentation (institutional and national) and with the Helsinki Declaration of 1975, as revised in 2000 [ ].
