Ethics approval and consent to participate: For the anonymous survey in Halle a statement by the research ethics commission of the medical faculty was recieved (Nr. 2024 − 184). For the study in Verona, a formal statement from the research ethics commission was not necessary since the questionnaire was completely anonymous. In Verona, the study was approved in writing by the Presidents of the Academic Board of the Degree Course in Medicine and Surgery, traditional track and technological track.Our study complied with the Declaration of Helsinki.Students were informed of the option to complete the anonymous, voluntary questionnaire. Con-sent to participate and to publication was given through participation in the questionnaire.
