Ethics approval and consent to participate
: Clinical data was anonymized and provided by KAGes for purely scientific purposes, backtracking of individual patients is not possible. General outpatient data was anonymized and provided by the regional health insurance provider. Only secondary, prospective and anonymized data was used, hence ethical approval was not applicable. This complies with the Austrian Federal Act concerning the Protection of Personal Data (DSG) 2000 as lastly amended on the 25th of May 2018 by the Federal Law Gazette (BGBl.) Nr. 120/2017, specifically $7(1) in ‘part 2’ on ‘data processing for specific purposes’.
