: The Norwegian Centre for Research Data approved every aspect of this study (approval number 624052). The Faculty of Health and Social Sciences at the university, the hospital administrations, and the hospital’s data protection representative approved the study. The patients involved through the data collection during the clinical placement course in the hospital unit received written and oral information about the study from the student before the evaluator entered the room, including the level of patient involvement, voluntary nature of participation, and the right to reject or withdraw from the study. Patients consented in writing to the evaluator’s presence in the room where data were collected. All participants provided written informed consent. According to national regulations, approval from a medical ethical committee to collect this type of data was not necessary. All methods in this study were carried out in accordance with relevant guidelines and the Strengthening The Reporting of Observational Studies in Epidemiology (STROBE) guideline was used to report the study.
