: All methods were carried out in accordance with relevant guidelines and regulations, such as the Declaration of Helsinki [], and the Ethical Guidelines for Nursing Research in Nordic Countries []. The research protocol, including recruitment procedure, information to participants as well as examples of interview questions, was approved by the Swedish Ethical Review Authority (Dnr 2021–02578). Before conducting the interviews, written informed consent was obtained from each participant, where they agreed to participate in an interview for academic publication in care quality in care transitions from hospital to rural homecare.
