: Ethical clearance (reference number 230/2014) was obtained from the Institutional Review Board (IRB) of the University of Gondar, College of Medicine and Health Science Department of Pediatric and Child Health Nursing. The letter of permission was secured from the administrative bodies of the hospitals to communicate with the relevant bodies in the units. Written informed consent was obtained from each study participant. All of the study participants were verbally informed about the purpose of the study, about their right to participate, or about their withdrawal from the study at any time. Privacy and confidentiality were strictly maintained by avoiding writing the name of the study participants during the data collection, and all methods were carried out in accordance with relevant guidelines and regulations.
