Before data collection, the study was approved by the Faculty of Nursing, Alexandria University, Research Ethics Committee ((IRB00013620; Serial Number: 2022-9-75). The sector director and the director of the outpatient clinic of the included hospitals approved the study protocol. Informed written consent was obtained from all participants. The patient information form upon which consent was conditioned included the following information: the aim of the study, the assurance of anonymity and confidentiality of their data and responses, and their right to participate voluntarily and to decline or withdraw from the study at any time without facing any adverse educational or healthcare outcomes, or affecting their statutory rights.
