: The protocol of this study was approved by the ethical committee of Iran University of Medical Sciences, Tehran, Iran (code of ethics: IR.IUMS.FMD.REC1399.430). While explaining the study’s objectives to the participants, they were assured that their information was kept confidential, and the principle of confidentiality was observed in all stages of the study until the submission of the report. Also, before each interview or observation informed consent was obtained from all participants. Likewise, all the families, nurses, supervisors, and patients (if having no cognitive impairment and low consciousness) signed the informed consent before entering the home for observations and photography.
