: Ethical clearance was obtained from the Faculty of Health Sciences Research Ethics Committee of the University of Johannesburg (REC-754-2020) to conduct this research. Online informed consent was voluntarily obtained from each participant to confirm their willingness to participate in this study after being informed of all aspects of the research relevant to their participation. Participants’ privacy and confidentiality were maintained by ensuring that only the researcher, research supervisors, the independent coder had access to the transcripts and recorded audios. This was achieved by storing the interview recording on a password-protected folder on the researcher’s personal computer. Furthermore, this research adhered to additional ethical principles including the principles of autonomy, beneficence and non-maleficence, and justice.
