This study adhered to the principles outlined in the Declaration of Helsinki. Following approval from Shahid Beheshti Hospital and Imam Khomeini Oncology Clinic in Hamadan, Iran, participants were thoroughly informed about the research objectives, assessments, randomization methods, and interventions prior to commencing the study.
