: The study adhered to strict ethical guidelines (Declaration of Helsinki and its later amendments) to safeguard participants’ rights and confidentiality. Ethical approval was obtained from Amhara Public Health Institute (APHI) on August 10,2023. Data collection was conducted from September 01 to December 30, 2023. Additionally, permissions were obtained from Felege Hiwot Comprehensive Specialized Hospital and Tibebe Ghion Specialized Hospital of western Amhara, Northwest Ethiopia. Participants were given adequate time to consider their involvement, typically ranging from a few days to a week. During this period, they could ask questions and discuss any concerns they might have regarding participation. Written informed consent was obtained prior to the commencement of interviews and focus group discussions, ensuring that participants were fully aware of their rights, including the option to withdraw from the study at any time without any repercussions. To protect participants’ identities, participants were assigned pseudonyms to maintain anonymity during data analysis and reporting.
