: Approval for the study was granted by the Non-Interventional Clinical Research Ethics Committee of a Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University medical faculty (decision no: 02, session no: 2023/25, dated: 12. 12. 2023). Written institutional permission was obtained from KSU Afşın Healthcare College of Further Education Directorate. Verbal and written informed consent was provided by all the students who participated in the study. Each stage of the study was carried out on a voluntary basis. The study was conducted in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki. Permission was obtained from the developer of the subcutaneous insulin administration form. The study authors were unaware of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) policy requiring prospective registration of all interventional clinical trials. Therefore, as soon as we became aware of this policy, we registered the study and obtained a clinical trial number immediately after the initial data recording [].
