During data collection, each participant or family member provided consent after being thoroughly and appropriately informed about the study’s aims. Pan African Clinical Trials Registry (PACTR), no.: PACTR202506863203683, date of approval: 04/06/2025. The confidentiality of the collected information, the patients’ right to privacy, and their capacity to leave the study at any time were all taken into account. In addition, after explaining the study’s purpose and data collection timeline, an official letter with the hospital manager’s approval was produced.
