: The major limitation to this work is the carers’ reluctance to give information about their children and what they were going through due to the health of their children. However, it was made clear to them that it was for research purposes only. The privacy of the participants was ensured to enable them to provide accurate information. The type of CP and the functional status of the children also serve as limitations. The study is not free from limitations because it did not cover all the hospitals in the southwestern region.
