: The study was designed and conducted in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki []. When entering the home for the first time, the first author provided oral information about the study and gave the parents-to-be or parents a written information sheet. After reviewing the material, they gave written consent to participate and agreed to be contacted a few weeks later about a follow-up interview. Participation was voluntary, and participants could withdraw at any time without providing a reason. All data were treated confidentially, and participant anonymity was ensured. The study was approved by the Regional Committees for Medical and Health Research Ethics (project number: 27174) and the Norwegian Agency for Shared Services in Education and Research (reference number: 735207). The current study is part of the research project “New Families – Innovation and Development of the Child Health Services in Oslo”, which is registered at ClinicalTrials.gov (Registration Date: 11 November 2019, identifier: NCT04162626).
