: Ethical approval for this study was obtained from the RAK Medical & Health Sciences University (RAKMHSU) Research & Ethics Committee (Approval No. RAKMHSU-REC‐031‐2018‐F‐GE, dated 23 October 2018) and from the Health and Prevention Research Ethics Committee / RAK Subcommittee of the UAE Ministry of Health & Prevention (Approval Reference No. MOHAP/RAK/SUBC/REC/2018/56‐2018‐PG‐N, dated 17 December 2018). In addition, written permissions were secured from each participating hospital before data collection. Permission to use and adapt the Work‐Related Symptoms Scale (WRSS) was obtained from the original developer via email correspondence. The study was conducted in full accordance with the ethical principles of the Declaration of Helsinki (1964, and its subsequent amendments). Prior to enrolment, each potential participant received an explanation of the study’s purpose and procedures and was informed of their right to withdraw from the study at any time without consequence. Written informed consent was then obtained, using forms approved in both English and Arabic. Throughout the study, privacy and confidentiality were strictly maintained, and participants’ information was anonymised to ensure their protection.
