Before participating, all participants were fully informed about the objectives and procedure of the study. They were assured that their personal data and audio recordings would be treated confidentially and anonymously. They were also given the right to withdraw from the study at any time without giving reasons. Written informed consent to participate was obtained from all participants prior to data collection. The study was approved by the responsible ethics committee of the German Society for Nursing Science (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Pflegewissenschaft - DGP) (application number 24 − 008). The study was then prospectively registered in the German Clinical Trials Register (Deutsches Register Klinischer Studien, DRKS, ) on 2 May 2024, prior to the inclusion of the first participant (DRKS-ID DRKS00034176).
