: The Norwegian Agency for Shared Services in Education and Research approved ethical considerations and the data protection routine used in this research (Sikt ref. numbers: 257332, date for approval 06.07.2021, and 283905, date for approval 03.02.2023). Since this research did not fall under the Norwegian Health Research Act [ ] as it did not involve medical or health related research on human participants, an approval from the Regional Committee for Medical and Health Research Ethics (REK) was not required. In terms of ethical considerations, all participants received verbal and written information about the study and provided consent to participate consisting of agreement that their information would be used for scientific publications. We confirm that our study was performed in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki. Students were openly invited in class to take part in the study and were informed that they could decline or withdraw at any time. Also, they were assured that their participation would not affect their relationship with the instructors or their course assessment. The research team also discussed the use of gift cards as compensation for participation [ ] to acknowledge the time they spent in the interviews and for sharing their experiences. The incentive was modest and did not influence participants’ decision to participate.
