Prior to its commencement, the study protocol was ethically assessed and approved by the SINA Ethical Review Board (SINA-ERB; Approval ID: ERB0000019/08–24). The trial was registered at ClinicalTrials.gov (NCT06523907) on July 23, 2024. Participant recruitment took place on July 29, 2024, and the study was conducted from July 30, 2024, to September 30, 2024. Informed consent was obtained directly from all participants prior to their enrolment.
