: The study protocol was reviewed and approved by the institutional review boards (IRB) of International Centre for Diarrhoeal Disease Research, Bangladesh (icddr,b). Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) relied on icddr,b’s IRB review and provided assistance and guidance with technical aspects of this study. Study staff interviewed the drug sellers to collect demographic information after obtaining written informed consent. Drug sellers were not informed of these pre and post intervention assessment of drug dispensing practices as it would not be possible to capture the real scenario if the drug sellers were not blinded.
