Ethics approval and consent to participate
: The study protocol was approved by the Ethics Committee, Hospital District of Southwest Finland (16/180/2011), as well as by each hospital. Every hospital engaged to participate in the evaluation of the intervention, when they decided to start the training program. The hospitals gave overall consent for the nurses’ and managers’ participation. Personal details were not collected from the participants. Participation in the study was voluntary, and the participants were informed verbally and through a written information sheet about the aim of the study and its practical implementation. Participants gave their verbal consent for the study, which was recorded at the begin.
