Ethics approval and consent to participate
: According to the national guidelines on ethics of research in Cameroon, ethically approval and informed consent are not needed for research that does not involve or collect personal data of human participants or their biological substances [CitationRef removed]. This study did not involve human participants or their biological substances. Therefore, ethical approval and informed consent were not therefore needed. However, a verbal permission was obtained from the head of every health facility before proceeding to data collection.
