Ethics approval and consent to participate
: The Ethics Committee of Partners Healthcare (2012P001069) and the Navajo Nation Human Research Review Board (#NNR-11.150) approved the study. To comply with research guidelines outlined by the Navajo Nation Institutional Review Board (NNIRB), the study team also received approval resolutions from 11 chapters within 4 of the 8 SUs to record interviews with COPE participants. Each study participant consented to the interviews and signed a consent form to be recorded and for their de-identified data.
