Ethics approval and consent to participate
: This study was approved by the King Saud Medical City Institutional Review Board on July 9th 2017 and registered with the number H-01-R-053. Ethics approval to waive informed consent was requested and granted due to the impracticality of obtaining same from seriously injured patients; the level of their distress at the time; the explanations necessary of the type of information collected and the volume of the patients involved.
