Ethics approval and consent to participate
: Ethical approval was obtained from the Amhara Public Health Institute and the Emory University Institutional Review Board. Oral informed consent was provided by all participants of the study. Oral consent was approved by both ethics committees, given the literacy and education level of the communities in the study. Consent was tracked on a notepad by the note-taker prior to initiating focus group discussions.
