Ethics approval and consent to participate
: The Medical Ethics Committee of the University Medical Center Göttingen (Ethics Approval No. 9/9/18) provided approval for the study to be conducted on behalf of all trial sites.We concluded cooperation agreements with the ambulance service providers to participate in this study as well as with the City of Braunschweig and the District of Helmstedt. Written informed consent will be collected from all rescue workers in the ambulance stations before data collection. Written informed consent is not actionable and will not be collected from patients before their inclusion in the study. However, during the implementation stage, the application software will explain its functionality to the patients, who can then agree or disagree to use it.
