Ethics approval and consent to participate
: Ethical clearance was obtained from CMHS-IRB of the University of Rwanda (Approval Notice: No: 346_CMHS IRB_2019) and the research was also permitted by the management of the study hospitals.The population is made of health care providers providing maternal, neonatal and child care in the hospitals and these were participating in the mentoring program as mentees. Those who agreed to participate in the research were given a voluntary consent form to sign. Mentees were allowed to withdraw from the research at any time during the research period.
