Ethics approval and consent to participate
: The Roseman University of Health Sciences Institutional Review Board reviewed and approved the study protocol with an assigned study number of 1513182. The Roseman University IRB also approved a Waiver of Informed Consent under the same assigned study number. The waiver stipulates that retrospective patient records and Rosman CODM PAF database research involves no more than minimal risk to participants as identifiable information will be protected using a key for research. Additionally, the waiver stipulates that this study will not adversely affect the rights and welfare of the subjects as their data is routinely collected as part of the PAF program process and will be re-coded for research purposes to de-identify the data. No administrative permissions were required to access and use the patient data.
