Ethics approval and consent to participate
: Ethics approval for this study was granted by the University of Prince Edward Island Research Ethics Board (Approval #6008311). We used a consistent phone interview script for informed verbal consent; the script had been reviewed and approved by the University of Prince Edward Island Research Ethics Board. All respondents had reviewed the formal study introduction letter (see Appendix 1) prior to the interview. Verbal consent was considered sufficient as all respondents had already provided written consent for participation when submitting their completed surveys: the survey results are not reported here.
