Ethics approval and consent to participate
: This study was approved by the WHO Ethics Review Committee (WHO ERC 0003103, project A66000) in October 2018 and from local country ethics committees or Ministries of Health, as required by some of the countries (Kenya Amref Ethics and Scientific Review Committee, approval P622/2019 received in June 2019; Benin Ministry of Health, approval 2683/MS/SGM/DRFMT/SA received in May 2019). All participants were presented with the objectives of the study and informed consent forms, including consent to being audio recorded, which were signed before participating in the FGD or interviews. All participants were given the option to excuse themselves at any point during the interviews or focus group discussion. All identifiers for the participants were kept confidential and only the research team had access to them.
