: This study was conducted in compliance with the declaration of Helsinki. Ethical approval was obtained from the Institute of Public Health, College of Medicine and Health Sciences, University of Gondar (Ref: No: IPH/ IPH/837/6/2012). Permission letters were obtained from the Amhara Public Health Institute and respective zonal health departments and district health offices. After explaining the study’s purpose and importance, verbal and written informed consent was obtained from all participants in the study. Participants were informed that they have a full right to withdraw from the study at any time if they encounter any inconvenience during the data collection. The name of the respondent was not recorded on the questionnaires, and confidentiality was assured.
