: The present study conforms with the ethical principles of the Declaration of Helsinki. This study did not require approval by any ethics committee as, according to the Spanish law (“Ley 14/2007, de 3 de julio, de Investigación biomédica” updated on 2 June 2011), research projects carried out on human beings or their biological material have to be approved by a Research Ethics Committee, excluding observational studies where any patient treatment or intervention is not modified [CitationRef removed]. Moreover, according to the Spanish law (“Ley 41/2002, de 14 de noviembre, básica reguladora de la autonomía del paciente y de derechos y obligaciones en materia de información y documentación clínica el consentimiento informado” updated on 6 December 2018), the informed consent has to be signed only when the activity of the study can affect patient’s health status [CitationRef removed]. Since the present study is observational and patient data were obtained using an online anonymous survey, it was not necessary for patients to sign an informed consent.
